Discover the Kohala Coast

Many people coming to the Big Island of Hawaii are naturally drawn towards the coast year after year. Whether you've come for a quick weekend to recharge your batteries from the busy life of your week or planned for a fantastic month on the islands, Kohala is worth at least a visit. Most who have spent time there would even recommend you to spend your full holidays on the warm embrace of its sunny beaches. If you love to play golf prepare to have a great time at the Kohala Coast. Amidst the charcoal lava fields sport enthusiasts can find several golf courses of international renown that will keep you busy throughout your holiday. Some have even mentioned that the coast is quite the golfer's dream because of the constant sunshine that keeps the courses open through out the year. This is actually one of the most famous characteristics of the Kohala Coast. You'll be enjoying the warm embrace of the sun as this is one of the few places in Hawaii that has sunshine all year round (some other parts are quite rainy.) So forget about spending your next vacations lofting around the hotels in San Francisco (even the great ones like these), and get ready for a true tropical holiday at the Kohala Coast.
