Tickfaw
State Park
Located on the east bank of the Tickfaw River, the 1,200
acre Tickfaw State Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities
including boat/canoe rentals, camping, picnic areas, playgrounds and
trails.
To reach Tickfaw State Park take I-12 to the
Albany/Springfield exit and travel 2.0 miles south on LA 43, merge with
LA42 and continue 1.0 mile to the center of Springfield. Turn west on LA
1037 and continue 6.0 miles to Patterson Road, then south 1.2 miles to the
park entrance. |
