Merchants Millpond State Park

Merchants Millpond Trail is located on the 760 acre millpond at Merchants Millpond State Park. Two trails are marked on the millpond, leading to the canoe-in family and group campsites. The millpond offers excellent opportunities for a half day or full day of paddling.

Directions:

Merchants Millpond State Park may be reached from US158, NC32 and NC37. It is approximately 30.0 miles from the North Carolina cities of Ahoskie, Elizabeth City and Edenton and is also 30.0 miles from Suffolk, Virginia.

From I-95, take US158 east. Travel north on US13/US158 and turn right to follow US158 east. The park entrance will be on the right.
