Trent Creek Trail

7.0 Miles
Moderate/Difficult

The Trent Creek Trail begins at the Waterfront Park in Bayboro, follows Bay River to just east of Racoon Island, where you turn south into Trent Creek. From there you will follow the creek past the mouth of Alligator Creek, where if you like, you can exit the trail at the small boat ramp near the head of the creek. If you continue up Trent Creek you will pass the large bridge on NC 55, before reaching the smaller bridge that provides the take out for the trail.

The boat ramp on NC Highway 55 is approximately 0.7 miles from the mouth of the creek. Thomas Creek located on the east side of Trent Creek is approximately 0.7 miles long.
