NASA Dock to Wisharts Point Landing
From the NASA Dock Boat Ramp on Assawoman Creek paddle right and follow the creek toward Woman's Bay. Look for marker #27 and then beyond it to marker #24. Follow the markers across Womans Bay toward Wallops Island and proceed northward along its shoreline. As you enter Cat Creek you will see the Wallops Island causeway. Pass under the bridge and continue along Cat Creek. Follow the channel markers across Rogues Bay and look for marker #13 indicating the southern end of Island Hole Narrows. Paddle through the narrows and then turn left (West) at marker #2. Follow the markers in toward the mainland and look for the Wisharts Point boat ramp
To reach the NASA Dock Boat Ramp from US13 travel 1.8 miles east on Route 689 and turn left onto Route 730 and go 0.7 miles. The ramp is located at the end of the road.
