Cape Henry Memorial

Cape Henry Memorial

A wooden cross was erected by the early English settlers upon their safe arrival to Virginia in April of 1607, on April 26, 1935 the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists placed a granite cross on what is now known as Cape Henry Memorial. The Memorial is part of the Colonial National Historical Park. Also located within the Memorial is the Cape Henry Lighthouse.

Cape Henry Memorial is located within Fort Story Military Reservation, 2 miles north of Virginia Beach Virginia.
